Days 12
* 3 (36hrs./week)
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and cognitive evaluations to develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor critically ill patients, recognize changes in condition, and initiate timely nursing interventions.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments safely in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Operate and monitor critical care equipment, including cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and other life-support devices.
- Continuously evaluate patient responses to treatment and update nursing care plans as needed.
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, medications, and patient outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, discharge planning, and disease management.
- Delegate and supervise patient care activities performed by LPNs, CNAs, and other healthcare personnel while ensuring quality standards.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Active RN License for WA state.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN ICU experience preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident care skills.
- Ability to work flexible days, including weekends and holidays as needed.
