Bookkeeper

• Compensation: USD 17.5 - USD 18 - hourly

North 40 Outfitters in Moses Lake, WA., is looking to hire a Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company. We are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self.

As a Bookkeeper at North 40, your main responsibilities will include balancing the safe and tills, preparing tills, maintaining cash on hand, deposits and other duties as assigned.

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7am to 7pm, and Sunday 9am to 5pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.

• Experience using a multi-line phone system and ability to handle a high volume of calls
• Knowledge of clerical procedures, managing files and creating forms
• Proficient with Microsoft programs
• Ability to teach, coach and train cashiers
• Strong math skills and meticulous attention to detail required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive company and employee information
• Ability to educate and assist employees and customers on the brands that North 40 sells
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques. Physical ability to lift and carry 0-15 lbs. continuously, 15-30 lbs. frequently, and 30-55 lbs. occasionally, and team lift anything over 55 lbs. Spending 100% of work time on your feet, including use of ladders, rolling staircases and pallet jacks.
