What you'll do

Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. Tours to teach communication and collaboration across all associate levels, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, giving clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate objectives to teams. Models exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way OBW service model.

Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as community outreach and store presentation, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high‑quality customer experience. Drives financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, assisting budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, while ensuring sales‑indexed performance.

Manages and supports merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, developing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management, assigning duties and setting clear expectations while promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Coordinates job‑related activities and initiatives with key stakeholders, supporting plans that meet customer and business needs, communicating goals, building accountability, and measuring progress.

Demonstrates adaptability, promotes continuous learning, and models integrity and ethical standards by supporting company mission, policies, and the Open Door Policy. Builds high‑performing teams that embrace diversity, foster belonging, and create a supportive environment. Attracts and retains top talent, recognizes contributions, and upholds highest standards of integrity and ethics. Serves customers and members, delivering results while putting the customer first and adapting to customer behaviors, applying EDLP and EDLC business models.
