Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments of equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, performing timely repairs to minimize disruptions
- Collaborate with production teams to fine-tune machinery for improved efficiency, quality, and productivity
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and parts inventories using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and ensure equipment meets OSHA and company standards
- Respond promptly to breakdowns or urgent repair needs, working to restore operations as quickly as possible
- Assist with the installation and testing of new equipment or upgrades to existing systems
- Work closely with engineers, machine operators, and other mechanics to resolve issues and plan long-term maintenance strategies
- Share knowledge and expertise with team members, providing guidance on proper equipment use and care
- Comfortable working in a shift-based system, including weekends and overtime as required

- Our Maintenance Mechanics are key members of our operations team, responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems. Ideal candidates have strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certifications in mechanics, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and PLC troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with tools, diagnostic equipment, and blueprints or schematics.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations, including LOTO procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
