Billing Clerk

Fit Recruiting is seeking a Railcar Billing Clerk for a well-established company in the rail industry. This is a full-time, in-office position paying $55K-$60K
, depending on experience. We're looking for someone who is highly organized, self-motivated, and experienced with railcar repair billing processes and industry systems.

• Process billing for railcar repairs and ensure all charges are accurate
• Review repair orders and service documentation to validate billing
• Coordinate with repair facility managers to gather invoicing information
• Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with company policies
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing discrepancies
• Assist with monthly reporting and accounts receivable reconciliations

• Minimum of 5 years of rail industry billing or accounting experience
• Experience with AAR repair billing, the AAR Office Manual, UMLER, and Railinc
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
