· Perform floor stripping procedures in assigned areas to prepare a clean floor surface for recoating with the specified floor finish.
· Remove old floor finish, dirt, and debris from the floor surface.
· Manually scrub clean floor edges and corners.
· Perform shower scrubbing (top scrubbing) to prepare the floor for recoating.
· Apply floor finish using a technique that ensures a consistent coat without skips, swirls, or drips, resulting in a clean, shiny floor.
· Perform carpet cleaning procedures, including vacuuming, shampooing, and extracting, to remove dirt and stains.
· Buff hard surface floors to restore shine following the approved procedure.
· Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean, orderly, and workable condition; report failures immediately.
· Gather and load equipment and supplies efficiently for each assignment.
· Notify the Floor Team Manager of any issues encountered during work.
· Proficiently operate equipment such as Roto, high-speed buffer, extractor, and wet vac; assist in loading equipment onto the vehicle.
· Physical lifting of items over 20 pounds may be required.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
· Previous experience is a plus.
· Ability to work after 5:00 pm.
· Ability to respond to and follow directions from supervisors.
