Registered Nurse (Home Health) – Downtown & West Mobile Areas
Aveanna’s Home Health team is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver individualized nursing care in patients’ homes. The nurse will serve as the primary clinical partner for patients and families, promoting recovery, safety, and independence.
What You’ll Do- Conduct comprehensive in‑home assessments to evaluate physical, emotional, and environmental needs.
- Create patient‑centered care plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide skilled nursing interventions such as wound care, infusions, catheter care, medication management, post‑operative care, and chronic disease management.
- Educate and empower patients and caregivers on symptom management, medication use, and daily home care.
- Monitor patient progress, detect early changes, and communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to adjust plans and prevent avoidable hospitalizations.
- Coordinate care across providers and services to ensure continuity, clarity, and high‑quality outcomes.
- Complete timely, accurate documentation supporting quality, compliance, and measurable outcomes.
- Patient‑centered one‑on‑one care that directly impacts patients’ health, independence, and quality of life.

- Active registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- At least one (1) year of clinical nursing experience.
- Patient‑focused, organized, and motivated to deliver high‑quality care.
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- CPR certified (or ability to obtain certification).
