Responsibilities- Assist customers with policy questions and provide friendly, responsive service in person, over the phone, and through e‑mail.
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers to generate new business opportunities and schedule appointments for the agent.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate a consistent commitment to achieving success each day.
Hourly pay plus commission/bonus. Compensation: $12.00 – $13.00 per hour.
Requirements- Sales experience (such as outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) preferred
- Experience with outbound calling or lead generation preferred
- Understanding of and willingness to consistently make calls to generate new business opportunities
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals/quotas preferred
- People‑oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
- Able to learn computer functions and office systems
- Property and Casualty license required
- Successful candidate should be available to work 12 to 15 hours per week
This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. By accepting this position, you are not guaranteed an agency position with State Farm Insurance Companies. As an agent team member, you will still need to go through the regular State Farm agent selection process when you are ready to pursue an agency opportunity.
