Moss Point, MS:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled Driver – CDL Hazmat to safely deliver compressed gas cylinders, welding supplies, and industrial equipment while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and providing exceptional customer service.
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
- Deliver compressed gases, welding equipment, safety supplies, welding wire, and other industrial products to customer locations.
- Load and unload compressed gas cylinders and palletized inventory using proper material handling equipment.
- Retrieve empty cylinders and accurately document full and empty exchanges.
- Utilize handheld scanners and tracking systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Prepare and maintain delivery receipts, vehicle reports, and customer transaction documentation.
- Collect customer payments and obtain signatures for deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
- Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance checks on company vehicles.
- Respond professionally to customer questions, requests, and service concerns.
- Promote company products and services when appropriate.
- Follow all company, state, and federal safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions immediately.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum one (1) year of delivery driving or related experience preferred.
- Valid CDL License (Minimum Class
C) with Hazardous Materials endorsement required. - Valid DOT Medical Card required.
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements.
- Ability to safely handle compressed gas cylinders and industrial materials.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, handheld scanners, and timekeeping systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret delivery tickets, shipping documents, and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds.
- Ability to safely maneuver compressed gas cylinders and industrial products.
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Must possess adequate vision, depth perception, and focus capabilities necessary for safe vehicle operation and material handling.
