Electrical Foreman

Our client is seeking a highly competent and experienced Electrical Foreman to lead electrical teams and ensure the successful execution of electrical installations for various construction projects in Mossel Bay, Western Cape . This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in all electrical works. You will be responsible for supervising electricians, coordinating with other trades, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring compliance with all electrical codes and regulations.

This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute significantly to construction projects in the beautiful Mossel Bay area.

• Supervise and direct the work of electricians and electrical apprentices on construction sites.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation activities.
• Ensure all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and electrical codes.
• Coordinate electrical installations with other construction trades to ensure smooth project progress.
• Conduct safety briefings and enforce safety regulations among the electrical team.
• Manage materials and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during installation and construction.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a qualified electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman capacity.
• Proven ability to read and understand complex electrical blueprints and specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards relevant to the Western Cape .
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must hold a valid Wireman's license and relevant trade qualifications.
