Lead Telecom Field Technician

• Lead and supervise a team of field technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment, including fiber optic cables, base stations, and associated hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues reported by customers or network monitoring systems.
• Perform site surveys and assessments to plan and execute installations effectively.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring efficient utilization.
• Prepare detailed reports on work performed, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented.
• Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and effective communication.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of field operations and service delivery.

• A relevant technical qualification or certification in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Telecom Field Technician.
• Demonstrated experience in leading or supervising technical teams.
• Proficiency in fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (e.g., 4G, 5G) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with relevant tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety protocols in a field environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, often under pressure.
• A valid driver's license is essential for this role.
