HGV Technician

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Fitter/Mechanic to join us at our site in Motherwell. You’ll be working the Monday to Friday Day Shift. Our hours of cover are 06.00 - 18.00 split into two shifts: 06.00 - 15.30 & 08.30 - 18.00. You’llคือ working with an established team on a diverse range of vehicles and trailers, including MAN, Renault, and Mercedes.

We’ll need you to have your City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 (or equivalent), experience in fault diagnosis and repair, as well as stripping, fitting and replacing components. Preferably, you’ll have C+E entitlement on your licence, however this isn’t essential. As the contract can have some irregularity of hours, you’ll need a flexible approach.

• Carry out MOT preparations, servicing and repairs on our fleet of HGVs
• Diagnose faults on vehicles

• Proven experience in an HGV Fitter/Mechanic role
• Relevant HGV mechanic qualification, such as BTEC or City & Guilds (desirable)
• A full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement (desirable)
