Mechanical Fitter, Motherwell (Sites across Scotland)
£21.00 per hour + overtime (1.5x) + paid travel, Mon-Fri | 7:30am-4:00pm | 40 hrs
We are recruiting an experienced Mechanical Fitter for an immediate start on a temp-to-perm contract. Work is primarily within the water & wastewater sector, with plenty of overtime available.
Benefits- £21.00 per hour
- Overtime paid at 1.5x
- Paid travel time to and from site
- Monday to Friday work
- Immediate start
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
- Carry out mechanical installation of pumps, screens, and rotating equipment
- Install pipework, valves, and associated mechanical systems
- Work across water and wastewater treatment sites throughout Scotland
- Ensure all installations meet project specifications, quality standards, and health & safety requirements
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter
- Experience in water/wastewater or similar industrial environment
- Pump installation experience (centrifugal, multistage, progressive cavity)
- CSCS Card - essential
- Confined Space - essential
- DOMS desirable but not essential
- Good H&S awareness and ability to work from RAMS
