Construction Manager/ Foreman, Site Manager
Actalent is seeking an experienced Construction Manager II to lead onsite construction activities for a high-profile industrial manufacturing project in Moulton, Alabama

What You'll DoAs the onsite Construction Manager, you will oversee daily construction operations and serve as a critical liaison between contractors, engineering teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate daily construction activities across the project site
Manage general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and specialty trades
Coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, utility, and equipment installation activities
Conduct field inspections and walkdowns to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications
Monitor project schedules, milestones, and critical path activities
Identify construction risks, delays, and constraints while supporting recovery plans
Ensure adherence to site safety requirements and industry best practices
Facilitate coordination meetings with contractors, engineering teams, and project leadership
Track and communicate project progress, action items, schedule impacts, and risks
Support startup readiness and turnover planning for future manufacturing operations
Required QualificationsExperience managing construction activities within industrial manufacturing, process, energy, heavy industrial, or similar environments
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, contractor coordination, and field execution
Experience overseeing multiple contractors and specialty trades simultaneously
Ability to manage construction schedules and support schedule recovery efforts
Knowledge of construction safety programs, policies, and quality standards
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in active construction environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software
Ability to work onsite in Moulton, Alabama
