Teller (Float) - Moultrie
Provides courteous and professional teller service to customers. Completes transactions accurately and efficiently according to established policies and procedures. Identify referral opportunities and make appropriate suggestions that best meet the customers needs. Consistently seek to delight our customers by friendliness, including learning our customers and addressing them by name. Reliable attendance is critical.
Responsibilities:
- Processes transactions accurately and efficiently
- Smiles and greet customers, demonstrates good customer service skills
- Identify customer needs, and strive to meet those needs or direct customer to someone that can
- Controls teller cash drawer limits
- Follow bank security policies and procedures such as opening and closing procedures and maintaining alarm codes and functions
- Maintains an acceptable over/short difference
- Cashes checks within assigned limits
- Accepts deposit withdrawals and payments
- Issues official checks
- Redeems savings bonds
- Process night deposits under dual control
- Uses a personal computer to enter customer transactions and look up customer information
- Back up Head Teller as needed with ATM, Vault, and Cash shipments
- Back up Customer Service Representative as needed
- Maintains knowledge of bank products, policies, and procedures
- Keeps up to date with required Compliance courses and appropriate tests
- Follows proper procedures to comply with BSA, including but not limited to OFAC scans and CTR filings
- Fills in as needed at other CBC locations
Required Skills, Experience, &
Education:
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; good social skills
- Demonstrates a "team" attitude toward the bank and coworkers with a constant focus on improving/protecting the bank
- Possesses an attitude of cooperation and a continual motivation to learn
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and efficiency
- Works well under stress
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently
- Proficiency with personal computers; good technical skills
- Prior cash handling experience is preferred
- Maintain a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance
- Maintain clean work area
