Interventional Cardiology
Kindly note that we do not perform structural cases or STEMIs

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8 AM 5 PM; time is split equally between clinic
and cath lab
• Call:
Call required 7 days per month for medical/therapeutic cardiology only;
No
Stemi Call;
Shared with other fellow cardiologist;
Extra pay for extra call.
• Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
• Clinic/Hospital Facilities:
The clinic is located within walking distance of the
hospital campus. The Heart Center lab features state-of-the-art
equipment, including a GE Myospect Nuclear Camera.
• Additional Facilities: cath lab; physicians lounge with meals provided; a 24-hour
all-access employee gym; and a state-of-the-art medical education center with
simulation labs, a conference center, and more
Requirements:
• Completion or upcoming completion of interventional cardiology fellowship
• Required Certifications/Licensures:
Board-certified physician or board certification
eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years);
Georgia Medical
License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
Diagnostic services and procedures:
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Therapeutic Cardiac catheterization
• Electrocardiogram (ECG)
• Holter monitoring
• Echocardiogram
• Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE)
• Pacemaker and ICD insertion
• Loop recorder placement
• Cardioversion
• Stress test
• Cardiac computerized tomography (CT) scan
• Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
• Coratid studies
Compensation:
• Salary:
Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; plus, an annual
3% cost-of-living adjustment.
