Cardiologist Physician

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a full-time Cardiologist in the heart of Southwest Georgia. This opportunity invites a dedicated professional to work in a 155-bed community-based teaching hospital renowned for its commitment to medical excellence and patient care.

Position Highlights:

• Role: We are seeking both non-invasive and invasive general cardiologists.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, with balanced clinic and cath lab duties.
• Patient Load: Manage 14-20 patients daily in the clinic; hospital patient numbers vary.
• Call Duty: Required 7 days per month, shared with fellow cardiologists; additional pay for extra calls.
• Education: Opportunity to mentor medical students and residents.

Procedures and Diagnostic Services Offered:

Requirements:

• Completion or upcoming completion of cardiology fellowship.
• Board-certified or board certification eligible, with a requirement to obtain certification within 5 years if eligible.
• Hold a Georgia Medical License or participate in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
