We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gastroenterologist to become an integral part of our thriving medical team in Southwest Georgia. Our facility, a 155-bed community-based teaching hospital, offers a dynamic environment with collaborative support from fellow gastroenterologists, general surgeons, and mid-level practitioners.   Work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Weekly responsibilities are equally divided between outpatient clinic and inpatient endoscopy procedures.
• On-Call Duties: Participate in on-call duties for 7 days per month, shared with general surgeons and fellow gastroenterologists. Extra pay is available for additional call duties.
• Patient Interaction: Engage with around 25 patients per day in the clinic and manage 10 consults/15 procedures per day in the hospital.
• Educational Engagement: Opportunity to precept medical students and residents, enhancing the educational environment of our facility.

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology with ERCP skills required, EUS preferred.
• Completion or near completion of a gastroenterology fellowship.
• Possess or be eligible for a Georgia Medical License or participate in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.

• Colonoscopy, Upper Endoscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, ERCP, Bravo 48-Hour pH Monitor, and more.
• Address conditions such as GERD, Hepatitis B/C, Chronic Constipation, Liver Disease, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
