Production Worker – Lumber Manufacturing
Pay: $15.00/hour DOE
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 5:30 AM–5:00 PM
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Production Worker to join a fast-paced lumber manufacturing operation. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position requiring someone who is comfortable working around machinery, performing repetitive tasks, and staying productive throughout a long shift.
Job Responsibilities- Rotate through various production responsibilities and work areas as needed
- Shovel, lift, and carry boards and debris
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods
- Work around moving mechanical equipment and machinery
- Follow established safety procedures and help maintain a safe work environment
- Work efficiently with team members to meet production goals
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned
Applicants should be prepared for a physically demanding industrial environment, including:
- Prolonged standing, bending, climbing stairs, shoveling, and lifting
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to dust, loud noise, moving equipment, and environmental elements
- Working long shifts in a fast-paced production setting
- Operating or working around moving mechanical equipment
- Manufacturing, industrial, or lumber-production experience is a plus
- Familiarity with lumber manufacturing processes is a plus
- Ability to safely perform physical and repetitive work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with coworkers
- Good attention to detail
- Strong sense of urgency and willingness to stay productive
- Dependable and safety-conscious
