Intake/Admissions Nurse

Discover a different side of nursing care at Turning Point! Turning Point Care Center has an opening for a full-time RN in the Intake/Admissions department. The RN promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care. Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point. Our Intake/Admissions RNs work with potential patients, referral sources, and medical providers over the phone and with new patients in person.

Responding expeditiously to patient referrals, review of patient records, processing patient admissions, patient assessments, obtaining admission approvals.

This position's schedule will be 4pm-4am with a 3/4 schedule. This position qualifies for shift differential pay.

Qualifications:

Experience in substance abuse/mental health treatment, preferred. Understanding of commercial and Medicare insurances. Knowledge of patient level of care requirements. Licensed by the State of Georgia (good standing) as a Registered Nurse/RN. BLS/CPR Certified.
