Duties
Turning Point is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a PRN Day Shift RN at our behavioral health facility. The RN promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care. RNs ensure that nursing resources are adequate to provide optimal patient care to a variety of patients which could include dual diagnosis, chemical dependency, and/or psychiatric care. Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point.
In addition to the above, duties may include:
- Processing patient admissions
- Treatment plan development
- Patient assessments
- Medication administration
- Medication education
This position's hours are primarily from 5:30 am – 6:00 pm, but days and hours can vary. This position is eligible for shift differentials.
Qualifications- Experience in substance abuse / mental health treatment, preferred.
- Licensed by the State of Georgia (good standing).
- BLS/CPR Certified.
