Responsibilities

Registered Nurse (RN). Turning Point is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN Day Shift that is vital to the successful operation of our behavioral health facility. The RN promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care. RNs ensure that nursing resources are adequate to provide optimal patient care to a variety of patients which could include dual diagnosis, chemical dependency, and/or psychiatric care.

The RN collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point.

• Processing patient admissions
• Treatment plan development
• Patient assessments
• Medication administration
• Medication education

Hours are primarily from 5:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., but days and hours can vary. This position is eligible for shift differentials.

• Experience in substance abuse / mental health treatment, preferred.
• Licensed by the State of Georgia (good standing).
• BLS/CPR Certified.
