The Nurse Manager position is a managerial position accountable to the Director of Nursing and has responsibility for ensuring the overall efficient operation of the department in various aspects including creating, maintaining and managing a therapeutic milieu within the treatment program to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point.

• Supervising RNs, LPNs, MHTs, and ancillary staff by making assignments and monitoring patient care
• Providing quality nursing care to meet identified patient outcomes
• Carrying out assigned functions according to philosophy, goal and objectives of the hospital and program unit
• Contributing as an active part of the treatment team

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree preferred.
• Four (4) years of experience as a RN. Experience in a behavioral health/substance abuse/psychiatric setting preferred.
• Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing certifications preferred.
• Positions of progressive responsibility including supervisory and/or administrative nursing roles preferred.
• Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Georgia in good standing.
• Ability to interact appropriately with all populations served and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and mastery of DSM-5 and biopsychosocial assessment preferred.
• Demonstrated competence to participate in interdisciplinary formulation of individual treatment plans; to give skilled nursing care; and to direct,…
