Westonka High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Girls Golf Coach to lead and grow a competitive and positive program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a commitment to student-athlete development, and a passion for fostering both individual and team success. Previous playing and coaching experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in working effectively with students, staff, parents, and the community.
- Provide leadership and vision for the girls golf program, including program development and long-term planning.
- Organize and lead all practices and competitions.
- Promote skill development, sportsmanship, and academic success among student-athletes.
- Collaborate with coaching staff and the activities department to support a comprehensive athletic program.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with athletes, families, and school personnel.
- Travel with the team and supervise student-athletes at all away contests.
- Uphold and promote the values and standards of Westonka Public Schools and the MSHSL.
- Previous successful coaching experience preferred.
- Background in golf as a player and/or coach preferred.
- Minnesota coaching licensure required (or ability to obtain).
- Teaching licensure preferred.
- Strong organizational, leadership, motivational, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting the value of co-curricular activities.
Compensation:
Salary Range - $4,879 - $5,279 - will be in accordance with Schedule B of the Teacher Master Agreement.

Westonka Public Schools, ISD #277, is located west of Minneapolis along the western shores of Lake Minnetonka. Westonka High School is a member of the Wright County Conference.
