At Sunflower Communities, we are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team every other weekend on days. - Provide clinical oversight and support during the day shift.
- Perform resident assessments and respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments while ensuring safe medication practices.
- Develop and oversee individualized service plans and nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Mentor caregivers and provide clinical support, coaching, and education.
- Participate in admissions, care conferences, and resident reviews.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, documentation standards, and community policies.
- Help create a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for residents and team members.
- Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities and support clinical decision-making after hours.
- Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, home health, skilled nursing, or related healthcare settings preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Confidence making independent decisions and responding to changing resident needs.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Leadership mindset with a willingness to support, coach, and guide team members.
- Passion for caring for older adults and improving quality of life.
