Senior Buyer

Industry: Industrial Engineering and Distribution

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

• Support procurement and purchasing activities to ensure materials and services meet operational needs
• Coordinate purchase documentation and maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding pricing, availability, and delivery status
• Monitor open orders, follow up on outstanding items, and assist with issue resolution
• Support reporting and tracking of purchasing and supplier performance data
• Assist with supplier evaluations, bid reviews, and cost‑management efforts
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
• Stay informed on market conditions and industry trends relevant to purchasing activities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software
• APICS, ISM or Greenbelt certification, or advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 4 years purchasing experience. ISO 9001 environment preferred
