Change Management, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Overview
The Principal Quality Systems Specialist supports large-scale enterprise system implementations across Medtronic, ensuring successful execution of Wave deployments. The role manages complex activities such as role and context mapping, training coordination, and user readiness initiatives to meet deployment timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities- Lead coordination of implementation activities and facilitate training and change readiness efforts.
- Prepare the organization for system deployment, managing learning initiatives for large programs, including integrated project plans, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and implementation readiness.
- Partner with program teams, process owners, SMEs, change management, communications, LMS/CSOD resources, vendors, and training specialists to align learning deliverables to program timelines and business objectives.
- Support learner readiness through audience analysis, role mapping, training strategy, content coordination, completion tracking, status reporting, and post‑launch support.
- Apply quality system knowledge to ensure learning plans, training records, and implementation activities remain compliant, effective, and inspection‑ready.
- Provide oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Interpret policies, regulatory, and internal regulations to assure compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience in Quality or regulated industry, or advanced degree with 5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of quality system requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in managing complex implementation work and ensuring user readiness.
- Understanding of 8C.F.R. §214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) requirements for non‑U.S. degrees.
- Strong learning and development background with hands‑on experience designing or managing training solutions (ILT, eLearning, Teams, etc.).
- Experience leading learning work streams for large, complex programs or system implementations (e.g., SAP, PLM, digital transformations).
- Ability to translate business and system changes into training impact and identify downstream effects to training strategy, delivery, and learner readiness.
- Demonstrated end‑to‑end ownership of learning program delivery in complex or regulated environments.
