About the RoleThis role is a Market Development Consultant for Medtronic’s Structural Heart business, leading TAVR Referring HCP strategy. In this role you will develop and execute strategies that strengthen awareness and engagement among referring cardiologists for heart valve therapies, expanding referral pathways and improving patient access to therapies while addressing common barriers to TAVR therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead referring audience market development strategy: engage referring physicians and general cardiologists to generate insights; lead market research; develop relevant content; partner with integrated marketing; define metrics.
- Lead cross-–functional indication expansion commercial strategy: develop and drive launch plan; create operating mechanisms; define success metrics.
- Travel:
Approximately 20%, including domestic and select global travel. - Onsite requirement:
Minimum 4 days per week onsite at Mounds View, MN campus.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, product management, sales, consulting, or related commercial roles (or 8+ years with an advanced degree).
- Proven market development or commercial marketing experience with ownership of strategy development and execution.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence cross-–functional and field stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, storytelling, and executive communication skills.
- Experience working in global, highly matrixed organizations.
- Medical device, healthcare, or Structural Heart experience.
- Strong project management skills and planning excellence.
- Strong communication skills with ability to tailor communications to a wide range of stakeholders.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
