School Photographer - Mounds View, MN

Role Overview

Seasonal School Photographer starting July 14, 2026. Must reside in Mounds View, MN or surrounding areas.

• 401(k) match eligibility from Day 1
• Seasonal Flexibility – work through November with potential extension into December
• Average 30+ hours per week with overtime pay during peak weeks
• Paid training and mileage reimbursement
• Promotion potential to Photo Team Lead with extra $1/hour

• Use personal vehicle to travel to local schools and support picture day
• Enjoy scenic routes, meet new people, with occasional overnight stay (hotel + per diem paid)
• Transport, set up, and take down photography equipment at school locations for photo day events
• Use photo software to organize and manage images
• Build hands‑on photography experience in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting

• High school diploma or GED (must be 18+)
• Reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver’s license (no public transport)
• Willingness to start early (driving start times as early as 4 AM) and work occasional extended hours during travel
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of camera equipment
• Ability to store camera equipment at home when not in use
• A cheerful, friendly personality – especially around kids
• Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities
• Strong communication, customer service, and technical skills
• Ability to work independently for smaller events after training
• Travel to schools, as scheduled, for photo day events
• Comfortable working with computers, cameras, and learning new programs
• Professional grooming and appearance that reflects Jostens standards
• Reliable cell phone and internet access

• May be required to complete additional background/health screenings as determined by state specific policies.
