Job Overview

The Principal Systems Engineer (Cardiac Ablation Solutions) will refine systems engineering skills to conduct interface testing and integrate solutions into Electrophysiology cath lab and hospital environments.

• Participate on cross‑functional development teams in the creation of integration, characterization, and troubleshooting testing.
• Develop and maintain training and guidance documents.
• Identify opportunities to apply systems engineering principles within assigned work.
• Support marketing, field engineering, technical services, and training/education with technical questions.
• Propose and implement changes to improve systems and/or processes.

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or
• PhD and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Advanced understanding of Electrophysiology and experience in a hospital environment.
• Experience in Systems Engineering, including defining systems architecture within medical device product development.
• Experience with Design Controls for medical devices.
• Demonstrated ability to create strategies and influence cross‑functionally.
