Job Overview

The Principal Systems Engineer (Cardiac Ablation Solutions) will refine systems engineering skills to conduct interface testing and integrate solutions into Electrophysiology cath lab and hospital environments.
Primary Responsibilities- Participate on cross‑functional development teams in the creation of integration, characterization, and troubleshooting testing.
- Develop and maintain training and guidance documents.
- Identify opportunities to apply systems engineering principles within assigned work.
- Support marketing, field engineering, technical services, and training/education with technical questions.
- Propose and implement changes to improve systems and/or processes.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or
- Master’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or
- PhD and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced understanding of Electrophysiology and experience in a hospital environment.
- Experience in Systems Engineering, including defining systems architecture within medical device product development.
- Experience with Design Controls for medical devices.
- Demonstrated ability to create strategies and influence cross‑functionally.
