A Day in the LifeThe Design Technician IV will support the range of incoming design and print jobs from all operating units. The role will require less than 10% travel and onsite presence minimum 4 days per week.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned- Run a wide range of 3D printing technologies
- Fix and maintain 3D printers of various types and technologies
- Work with customers of varying backgrounds including R&D, Marketing, and Sales
- Commit to delivering high-quality parts and design solutions in a timely manner
- Coordinate design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications
- Requires 5+ years of relevant technical experience, which may include a combination of practical experience and applicable training, education, or certification
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California.
