Financial Analyst
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic finance support for Marketing, Training/Education, and administrative functions within CAS to ensure alignment with goals and objectives
- Perform detailed variance analysis, comparing actual results against budgeted figures, and provide insightful commentary to management
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership, highlighting key financial trends, variances, and recommendations for improvement
- Standardize processes to provide business performance insights
- Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across Medtronic finance
- Educate business partners on financial topics and policies
- Lead the development and deployment of annual KPIs and processes
- Handle ad‑hoc requests and special projects as needed
Less than 10% travel required.
Nice to Have- CPA or MBA
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
- Experience with Essbase, One Stream, and/or SAP
Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
