Job Description / Responsibilities :

u Extensive knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Windows Environments and SQL queries
u Knowledge on scripting (Shell, Perl, etc.)
u Strong knowledge on ITIL process
u Ability to schedule and develop new jobs using TWS/IWA scheduler tool
u Automate and provide a permanent fix through scheduling to avoid any manual work around.
u Ability to understand the Client/Applications perspective as well as explain the developers view if any.
u Implement the requirements/changes raised by the application teams or the client in a productive manner.
u Expected to work along with various application Owners and their teams.
u Knowledge about FTP and SFTP
u Need to schedule the jobs in IWA development region and keep a track of its implementation till the production Go-Live.
u To be a part of any planned migration or maintenance activities if need arises.
u Co-ordinate with testing teams to debug the defects in Development instances.
u Expected to provide additional support to any new project activities included as a part of our road map in near future.
u Expected to work with IBM support people in case of any blockage or bug found in the latest IWA version.
u Co-ordinate with the client/application teams to complete all the project related activities to meet the deadline.
u Ability to handle the incidents raised regarding IWA and provide a resolution within the breach period.
u Assist Monitoring team with their queries and in certain complex situations.
u Be vigilant to respond to the mails and calls from the members of same or related projects.
u Interact with operations, functional, technical, and various technology teams on a regular basis
u Frequent tracking, review and reporting on ticket progress and adherence to CPIs and KPIs
u Work with various Technology teams to gather and review minor enhancement estimates
u Provide traceable milestones/ETAs to customers on tickets (build project plan when needed)
u Reduce or minimize backlog of tickets (incidents, requests, tasks etc)
u Review RCAs to ensure the outcome is meaningful, measurable, and trackable for customers
u Ensure RCA is completed on time and follow through on ETAs for implementation of action items to ensure permanent resolution is completed on time
u Monitor progress on tickets and responsible for on time delivery to customer
u Ensure security risks and SOX compliance adherence is maintained for applications in scope
u Handle migration project on TWS complete environment
u IWS Environment design on multi-workstation layout
u Responsibility to Patch the TWS servers as well as agents
u Experience in TWS event monitoring and workload automation
u SAP job creation and management in SAP systems
u Creation and modification of Jobs, Job Streams, plan cycle, Creation of calendar and periodic updating with respect to client requirement
u Proactively monitoring and scheduling the Jobs, Job Streams and objects on the current planlist using the IWS for Windows/ Unix production and staging environment
u Installing and administrating IWS Master and Agent servers
u Installing Patching and maintaining IWS (windows. Unix and Linux servers)
u Testing new jobs and batch Scheduling, troubleshooting
u Migrating jobs from Staging to production environment
u Updating and creating the SOP periodically according to the Project requirement
u Improving and supporting the Infrastructure for IWS
u Providing guidance and insight for the job standards, troubleshooting and Schedule configuration
