Technical Support, Systems Engineer

The Design Technician III will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and safety of a medical device system during new product development, supporting systems integration and verification testing, test development and execution. This role is part of the Systems Engineering team in Cardiac Rhythm Management R&D organization.
This role requires working onsite 5 days a week.
Responsibilities- Perform system integration test activities which may include manual testing, automated testing, stress testing, alpha testing, and beta testing.
- Perform system verification test execution and support test protocol development, as needed.
- Run project testing, including executing somewhat complex testing, interpreting data, developing key reports, and providing updates to the broader team.
- Solve general technical problems which may require understanding of broader sets of issues and other job areas but are typically not complex.
- Communicate regularly with internal contacts to prioritize, troubleshoot, and manage testing artifacts.
- Lead lab maintenance and continuous improvement activities to minimize program downtime.
- Foster a collaborative lab environment by supporting internal stakeholders, serve as a subject matter expert on lab capabilities and assist engineers in troubleshooting test configurations.
Requires minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (United States), vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries). For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Benefits& Compensation
Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. Salary ranges for U.S. (excl. PR) locations (USD): $67,200.00 - $. This position is eligible for a short‑term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
