As a Senior IT Product Management Analyst of Intelligent Process Automation & Mining, you will co‑create and drive the vision for the capability, deliver key input to the product roadmap and backlog, incorporate requirements and acceptance criteria, and lead release communication and stakeholder management. This role focuses on Intelligent Process Automation and Process Mining, shaping the roadmap, delivering on the Data & AI promise of digital transformation, and coaching less experienced specialists.
Responsibilities- Specializes in analyzing, designing, prioritizing and implementing a set of IT products, platforms and/or services.
- Leverages understanding of business strategy and needs to create a vision and roadmap for IT products, platforms and/or services.
- Ensures technologies add value and can scale Medtronic’s use of a given IT solution across various businesses, regions and functions.
- Drive the vision, roadmap, and backlog for the Intelligent Process Automation & Mining capability, translating business strategy and needs into prioritized IT Features, technologies, and services.
- Proactively engage with Medtronic business and Global IT partners to identify and define opportunities where the application of Hyperautomation & AI can advance strategic goals.
- Define and manage requirements and acceptance criteria and ensure they are incorporated into delivery.
- Analyze, select, and influence modification of systems in partnership with platform architects and engineering teams.
- Gather, review, assess, and partner to drive new ideas and projects through the global portfolio processes.
- Ensure solution and architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility.
- Ensure information is protected in accordance with Medtronic's Information Protection Policies and Standards.
- Coordinate delivery of projects and services to the enterprise, acting as the primary contact for capability initiatives.
- Research and create proof of value for related technology industry and market trends, determining potential advantages and impacts.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other specialists and partners within the capability.
- Implement a continuous‑improvement mindset and methodologies to increase platform value, quality, and stability.
- Innovate and drive change management, transforming individual automation capabilities toward synergistic solutions and ensuring enterprise re‑use.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of experience with an advanced degree
- Previous Medtronic experience is strongly preferred
- Work experience in the Medical Device industry, or other regulated industry.
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, certification preferred (e.g., CSPO, SAFe POPM).
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including GenAI, agentic AI, and conversational AI within process automation.
- Strong technical acumen, decision making, and influence skills across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Able to work independently as well as cooperatively.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise automation & mining platforms (e.g., UiPath, Celonis).
- Broad knowledge of enterprise data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Microsoft Azure).
- Broad knowledge of enterprise integration platforms (e.g., web Methods).
- Very strong verbal and written communication in English.
- Strong communication skills, including with employees, clients, senior management, and vendors.
- Solid presentation skills, including the ability to translate data concepts and technical information into business terms.
- Strong results orientation, driving to deadlines, financial targets, and project goals.
- Ability to work collaboratively and partner with employees, leaders, clients, and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a global, virtual organization.
