Position Overview
We are seeking a Program Manager to join the Quality organization supporting the Renal Denervation (RDN) Capital Equipment Generator Program in Mounds View, MN. This role will manage Quality work streams across the Product Development Process, partner with cross‑functional leaders, and ensure Quality deliverables are aligned with program plans.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Quality program activities for the RDN Capital Equipment Generator Program throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain integrated Quality plans aligned with PDP milestones, managing schedules, dependencies, risks, and resources.
- Work closely with the Core Team and functional leaders to embed Quality activities within the overall program plan.
- Coordinate technical Quality activities across engineering, regulatory, and manufacturing teams.
- Plan and coordinate Design Verification activities, ensuring strategies, timelines, and deliverables align with program objectives.
- Support Design Transfer readiness with Manufacturing and Operations for commercialization.
- Facilitate cross‑functional technical reviews, identify risks and dependencies, and drive timely issue resolution.
- Track Quality program performance using key metrics and provide updates on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure deliverables comply with Medtronic product development processes, Design Controls and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Build partnerships across Systems, Software, Hardware, Mechanical Engineering, Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
- Improve Quality program execution, planning practices, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Communicate program priorities, progress, risks and key decisions to cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Advanced expertise in product development and program delivery.
- Experience working on large, complex PDP teams, planning technical work streams.
- Capital equipment and systems expertise with understanding of software, hardware, and mechanical interfaces.
- Cross‑functional leadership and influence across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math with at least 5 years of technical work experience.
- OR advanced degree in science, technology, engineering, or math with at least 3 years of technical experience.
- Track record of successfully delivering projects in a matrix environment.
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
- Experience working in regulated environments and delivering new products in compliance with global regulatory standards.
Less than 10% travel. In‑person exchanges are conducted on site 4 days per week. The role requires independent mobility, computer interaction, and communication with peers.

Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range (US): $ – $ (excluding Puerto Rico). The position is eligible for the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
