Production Associate

Quanex is looking for a Production Associate to join our team in Mounds View, Minnesota
.

In this role you are responsible for performing assigned production functions in a safe manner to consistently meet production standards and quality requirements.

• 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday - Thursday) + 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM (Friday, as needed)

• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
• Monitors product to ensure quality standards are being met and rejects product that does not meet quality standards.
• Keeps the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.
• Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes production reports and other documentation.
• Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
• Assists in other work areas when the workload permits or requires.

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 months of production, assembly, or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.

The targeted hourly rate for this position falls within a range of $17.00 to $19.00, depending on experience, qualifications, and job responsibilities.
