Producer Testing Laboratory Technician I

The Producer Testing Laboratory Technician I receives sufficient authority from, and is accountable to, the Laboratory Manager or appointed designate (Group Lead) for the successful completion of assigned duties and responsibilities. The role has the authority to take actions necessary to carry out its duties and to identify departures from procedures, so long as such action does not deviate from established company guidelines, is consistent with sound technical and business judgment, and follows laboratory practices.

• Understand and follow Quality System documents (Quality Manual, SOPs, Methods).
• Adhere to appropriate quality measures to meet or exceed standards set by NCIMS 2400 or other regulatory bodies and company requirements.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and assist in maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Register incoming samples and maintain accurate records of work performed daily and for quality control or regulatory purposes.
• Enter sample data into Eurofins eLIMS systems accurately and timely.
• Operate dairy testing instruments efficiently and validate results.
• Identify process difficulties and report them with proposed solutions to management.
• Maintain readiness to respond to queries and needs of clients, staff, and co‑workers.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with all company employees and communicate orally and in writing to intra‑ and inter‑departmental staff.
• Promote the company image through sound and ethical business practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• M‑F 8hrs/day with rotational Saturdays.
