Truck Upfit Technician
As a Truck Upfit Technician, you play a crucial role in the preparation and installation of work truck and van equipment and accessories such as toolboxes, ladder racks, lighting, snowplows, lift gates, and tow products. This position will also perform repairs to van and truck equipment and accessories.
Wage range: $22 – $26 hourly.
Position is eligible for Tech Incentive.
The position will remain posted until filled; resume review ongoing.
Essential Functions- Installation of equipment and accessories for work vans and medium/light duty trucks.
- Inspections & Maintenance: perform DOT inspections upon certification, maintain an organized work area, and assist with other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for vehicle maintenance and repair.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics.
- Valid Class D Driver’s License.
- Basic tool set.
- 2+ years of related post‑secondary education with 1+ years of related experience.
- 3+ years of related experience in lieu of education.
- Previous lift truck repair and welding experience.
- Knowledge of various types of testing equipment.
