Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Mounds View, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers while representing our company with professionalism and courtesy.
* Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to designated locations
* Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all items
* Follow optimized routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
* Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon package receipt
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
* Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
* Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
* Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding route updates or delays
* Wages range from $15-25 with tips and mileage included with hourly wage
Qualifications
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and mobile devices
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
* Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions (if applicable)
* Familiarity with the Mounds View area and surrounding regions preferred
* Previous delivery or courier experience is a plus
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
* Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations on the road
