Primary Care Physician, Medical Doctor
Northern Family Medicine, a department of Northern Regional Hospital, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join a well-established outpatient practice serving Mount Airy and the surrounding region. The role provides an opportunity to deliver comprehensive primary care within a collaborative, team-based model supported by the resources of a regional health system.
Requirements- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- North Carolina medical license eligibility
- DEA certification
- Outpatient experience
- Interest in community-based care
- Team-based care mindset
The physician will provide full-scope outpatient primary care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care. The role involves collaboration with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and care management teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services
- Manage acute and chronic conditions
- Deliver preventive care and wellness services
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain timely clinical documentation
