Network Field Engineer

Scope of Work – Retail Store Device Health Check Field Services

• Visit assigned retail stores to perform scheduled device health checks.
• Inspect retail store devices, including Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, self-checkout equipment, printers, handheld scanners, and other store technology assets.
• Perform checklist-based device inspections and verify operational status.
• Use the Retail Device Diagnostic Tool (where applicable) to identify hardware and software issues.
• Perform basic onsite troubleshooting and remediation using standard procedures.
• Replace or support commonly used devices and accessories as required.
• Record all completed work, remediation actions, unresolved issues, and inventory usage.
• Capture detailed information for issues that cannot be resolved onsite and report them to the project team for further action.
• Maintain daily activity logs and accurate documentation for each store visit.
• Follow the approved store visit schedule and communicate any changes in advance.
• Coordinate with project teams and store personnel during onsite visits.
• Deliver professional onsite support while adhering to project standards and timelines.
