Maintenance Technician

Immediately Hiring Maintenance Technicians / Mechanics In Mount Airy, NC

Work Hours:

2nd Shift, Monday - Friday Available

Pay: $28 - 33 Per Hour + OT

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Repair motors, controls, and other equipment
• Use tools and testing equipment to ensure proper operation
• Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
• Support production teams during breakdowns
• Keep work areas clean and organized

Requirements

• Experience in industrial maintenance or similar role
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and testing devices

Work Environment

• Clean production facility (temperature can vary with seasons)
• 2nd shift: 2:55 PM – 11:00 PM
• Monday–Friday with overtime on weekends

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Mount Airy, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68640.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

11 paid holidays, both PTO and vacation hours, 401k with company matches up to 6% of gross wages on the 91st day. We also offer very affordable benefits package available at 30 days. Employees have three plans to choose from.
