Interim Part-Time Bookkeeper

A great UHY client is seeking an Interim Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience utilizing Quick Books.

The Interim Part-Time Bookkeeper role is an onsite position. This is a contract position.

• Maintain accurate financial records within the accounting system.
• Record and reconcile daily cash, bank, and credit card transactions.
• Perform monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare financial information to support tax filings and year-end reporting.
• Assist with payroll tax and retirement plan administration.
• Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee expense reports.
• Match invoices to supporting documentation and maintain vendor records.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices.
• Manage accounts receivable, including collections, payment application, and billing discrepancy resolution.
• Process customer invoices through electronic billing portals.
• Provide backup support for payroll processing.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with financial reporting and special projects as needed.
• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong experience with accounting software;
  Quick Books preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
