Physician - OB​/GYN Generalist - Fremont, MI

Corewell Health Medical Group is seeking an OBGYN to work in beautiful Fremont, Michigan. Join this thriving practice, working with three other OBGYNs and two CNMs who are all dedicated to providing excellent evidence-based care to a rural and underserved community. This practice is supported by a robust Women’s Health Service Line through Corewell Health that includes maternal-fetal medicine, gynecology oncology, urogynecology, sexual health, and menopause services.

You will have a good mix of obstetrics and gynecologic surgery with access to excellent robotic surgery technology! Office space is located in the hospital and offers patients services such as social work, a lab, and physician-performed ultrasound. Corewell Health uses Epic EMR.

• LIC-Physician (MD) -  State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) -  State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-DEA Registration -  State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required or ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association, if required by specialty or stress test performed, 120 Days required

Corewell Health Gerber Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access hospital located in rural Newaygo County, which has a significant Amish population and seasonal migrant farm workers. The hospital offers inpatient medical, surgical, obstetrical, and critical care units. Our Family Birthing Center is highly rated and offers midwife services and individual birth plans. Outpatient services include a full-service laboratory, cancer services, medical imaging diagnostics (including CT, MRI, and 3D mammography), cardiopulmonary services, comprehensive rehabilitation, occupational therapy, and outpatient surgical procedures.

Gerber Hospital has a 24-hour emergency department for minor illnesses and injuries with minimal wait times. Our medical staff includes general and vascular surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, ENT, oncology, emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, anesthesiology, radiology, pathology, ophthalmology, obstetrics & gynecology, and midwifery, with visiting specialists in cardiology, ENT, nephrology, and sleep medicine.
