We are seeking a skilled Neurological Surgeon for an engaging 36-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan, beginning Jun 1, 2026. This critical role involves comprehensive 24-hour weekend and holiday call coverage, managing adult neurosurgery and trauma cases such as brain bleed management, trauma repair, spine surgery (including spinal fusion, laminectomy, and diskectomy), and various critical care procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties- Perform adult neurosurgery and trauma cases, including brain bleed management and trauma repair.
- Conduct various spine surgeries such as spinal fusion, laminectomy, diskectomy, vertebroplasty, and kyphoplasty.
- Manage critical care procedures, including external ventricular drain management and ICP/CPP monitoring.
- Provide 24-hour weekend and holiday call coverage, from Friday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM.
- Board Certification in Neurological Surgery is required.
- Familiarity with the Epic EMR system is required.
