Program Summary
Summer School for incoming grade 9 students will focus on helping students bridge from middle school to high school to have a successful high school experience. All students will be expected to attend daily.
Schedule- 4 days/week:
July 14, 2025 - July 31, 2025 - Daily hours: 8:30 - 12:00 pm (additional 30 minutes/day for planning = 4 work hrs/day)
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons using high-yield teaching strategies.
- Conduct daily progress monitoring on individual students to track progress over time. ? Contact parents with updates, as needed, and respond to parent questions and concerns in a timely manner.
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate
- Experience planning and facilitating differentiated small group instruction
- Training in Trauma-Informed practices
- Training in culturally responsive teaching practices
