Sustainability Coordinator
The Sustainability Coordinator is responsible for gathering and analyzing sustainability data for assessing the company’s performance across Environmental, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement functions. The role ensures that tasks are completed in a manner that meets or exceeds all aspects of Webb’s Quality and Environmental Commitment. It includes managing, preparing and submitting the company’s data to Eco Vadis or other third‑party sustainability rating organizations, and developing and overseeing initiatives to improve Webb Chemical’s sustainability rating.

- Data Collection & Analysis
- Gather and analyze data from focus areas related to sustainability
- Environmental (emissions, waste, energy use and recycling)
- Labor & Human Rights (fair treatment, working conditions)
- Ethics (anti‑corruption, transparency, legality)
- Sustainable Procurement (sourcing from responsible suppliers)
- Assess performance using the data to evaluate how well the company is doing in these areas
- Ensure all tasks align with Webb’s Quality and Environmental Commitment standards
- Gather and analyze data from focus areas related to sustainability
- Prepare and submit sustainability report data to Eco Vadis or other similar organization.
- Develop and oversee improvement initiative projects and strategies to improve Webb’s sustainability ratings.

- Track KPIs, and prepare reports on sustainability performance for leadership and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external organizations, customers, and community members to foster sustainable practices and raise awareness.
- Stay informed about relevant environmental legislation and regulations, and research emerging sustainability technologies and best practices.
- Complete customer sustainability requests in a timely manner with Sales Leadership.
- Complete supplier sustainability requests in a timely manner with Procurement Leadership.
- Report sustainability progress in the MRT (Management Review Team) meetings.
- Act as an auditor for the Quality Team.

- ISO, Responsible Distribution, Food Safety System Certification
- Document and Data Control (DDC)
- Updating and inputting controlled data into the system from various departments (Work Instructions, Forms, WMSM, etc.)
- Assist Vice President of Operations, Quality Department, EH&S Department with various projects as needed (i.e., budget).
- Assist with investigation of QMS or SMS (Safety Management System) issues/incidents.
- Familiarity with other quality programs (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, GMP, TQM, etc.).
- Contribute to team efforts.
- Participate in committees.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability management, chemistry, quality management, or similar field with 2 years of experience.
- Extensive, in‑depth working experience in industry with Sustainability, Quality, Environmental aspects in the absence of a degree.
- Understanding of sustainability concepts, environmental assessment methods, and relevant software and technologies.
- Ability to use data analytics tools to monitor and report on performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in managing projects, budgets, Microsoft suite, CRM and various resources.
