We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Lead to spearhead QE initiatives for Salesforce-based insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in Salesforce ecosystem testing with strong knowledge of commercial and specialty lines insurance operations. This role involves leading QE strategy, mentoring team members, and driving quality excellence across complex insurance technology implementations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end Quality Engineering strategy for Salesforce implementations in the insurance domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement comprehensive test frameworks for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and Experience Cloud integrations.
- Define QE best practices, standards, and governance models for insurance-specific Salesforce solutions including policy administration, claims processing, and underwriting workflows.
- Architect test automation solutions using Salesforce-compatible tools such as Provar, Copado, or Selenium-based frameworks with Salesforce API testing.
- Lead test planning for complex insurance processes including quote-to-bind, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and claims life cycles within Salesforce environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate insurance domain requirements into testable acceptance criteria and quality metrics.
- Mentor and guide QE Engineers, fostering technical growth and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Drive shift-left testing practices, integrating quality gates into CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
- Manage test environments, data strategies, and integration testing with external systems such as rating engines, document management, and payment gateways.
- Provide regular quality dashboards and executive reporting on test coverage, defect trends, and release readiness.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Engineering with at least 5 years focused on Salesforce platforms.
- Proven experience testing commercial and specialty lines insurance products including Property, Casualty, Workers' Compensation, Professional Liability, and Excess & Surplus lines.
- Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and Experience Cloud (Communities).
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce test automation tools such as Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or custom Selenium/Apex-based frameworks.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, SOQL, Apex triggers, Lightning components, and integration patterns.
- Experience with API testing for Salesforce REST/SOAP services and middleware integrations.
- Knowledge of insurance industry regulations, compliance requirements, and data privacy standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder, Administrator, or relevant testing certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce Dev Ops tools including Gearset, Copado, or Flosum.
- Familiarity with insurance industry data standards such as ACORD.
- Experience with performance testing of Salesforce applications using tools like Load Runner or JMeter.
- Knowledge of AI/ML-powered testing approaches and their application in Salesforce environments.
- ISTQB Advanced Level or similar QE certifications.
