Med Pro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing assignment in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long Term Acute Care setting
• Experience with vents, trachs, drips, EG tubes and ability to read telemetry strips
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility

• Provide care for 5-6 patients.
• Adjust and perform duties in a fast‑paced environment.
• Keep up with many admissions and discharges.
• Monitor and administer medications orally, subcutaneously, and through an IV.
• Educate patients and families on surgical processes and illness management.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment and record/interprete electronic displays.
• Interpret telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members of irregularities.
• Perform all duties required of a registered nurse at all times.
• Care for patients with pulmonary hypertension, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and atrial‑fibrillation.
• Use computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information.
• Start IVs, draw blood, and see patients from start to finish.
